On Saturday July 6 and Friday July 12 we will have the opportunity to observe the exit of the bats that inhabit the cave Soterraña de Serra. This cave houses an important colony of bats with up to 5 different species. To ensure its conservation, access is restricted by fencing to avoid disturbance.

Meeting point and time: Portacoeli parking lot at the Bétera-Portacoeli CV-331 road junction with the Portacoeli – Náquera / Serra CV-238 road. 19:30 h
From the meeting point we will leave with the cars, to the route that will take us walking to the surroundings of the Soterraña Cave, right there, while we wait for nightfall, we will talk about the bats and we will have dinner to wait for the departure of the bats.

Duration of the activity: 4-5 h

Information of interest: From the meeting point, we drive to the vicinity of the cave along a forest road for approximately 3 kilometers. From there we will walk along a stretch of trail to access the entrance of the cave.
We will have dinner on the mountain. It is recommended to bring appropriate footwear, water, flashlight and dinner. There is no drinking water point during the tour. At the end of the activity it will be necessary to use flashlights on the way back to the cars.
