World Tourism Day is commemorated every year on September 27, with celebrations led by UNWTO.
In this 2021 it has the motto “Tourism for Inclusive Growth”. We have the opportunity to go beyond tourism statistics and recognize that, behind every number, there is a person. UNWTO invites its Member States and non-Member States, United Nations agencies, businesses and individuals in general to celebrate the unique ability of tourism to ensure that no one is left behind when the world begins to reopen again and face the future.
To celebrate this day, the tourism department of the Serra City Council has scheduled guided visits to the Museu de l’Oli de Serra for Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 September, an old oil mill converted into a museum.
Although the visit is free, it requires prior registration, since places are limited and in small groups.
