The oldest Valencian motor racing event will be held on December 21 and 22 in Serra.
The Subida al Garbí celebrates half a century of history. A very special edition to be held on 21 and 22 December, as every year in Serra. It will be the last race of the season of the Spanish Mountain Cup (Copa de España de Montaña (CopaEM) organized by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation (REFdA), as well as the last scoring race of the Mountain Championship of the Valencian Community organized by the Federation of Automobile of the Valencian Community (FACV). The mythical ascent to the Garbí will decide many titles and categories of the year 2024.
In the words of the mayoress, Alicia Tusón: “This is the golden anniversary of the Subida al Garbí, the oldest event in Valencian mountain motor racing. A unique edition that we are preparing together with the Bengala racing team and other collaborators to make it an unforgettable edition for the fans and participants”.
On the official website of the event you can find all the details of the same, and allows you to link to the registration page of the RFEdA where all participants will have to register, both those participating in the Cup of Spain, as in the regional championship, being a test of national character.
As for the event itself, on Saturday December 21 will take place in the ravine of Clara the preliminary checks of the participants and the Closed Park Exhibition of participating vehicles, and will be at 20:30 pm the presentation of the teams participating in the test.
On Sunday, December 22nd the competition will take place in a 6.6 km route, which will be done in 4 legs, and will start at 09:00h at Km 28.700 of the CV-310 road in the municipality of Torres Torres, and will end at Km 1.700 of the CV-3341 road, in the municipality of Serra, with a difference in height of 432 m between the start and the finish line.
The Trophy Ceremony is scheduled at 15:30 h at the same “Garbí crossroads” of the race. After the last race, the participants will go down all in caravan from the finish line and will arrive at the crossroads, in the port of Oronet; where the podium will be located, then at the end of the delivery, the participants will continue to the exit and the assistance park.
