The Serra City Council has prepared for this summer an intense cultural activity designed for different audiences and age ranges. From July 10th to August 6th the Plaza de la S.M. La Primitiva will become a real setting for different outdoor cultural proposals and with all measures to ensure the safety of all, with capacity control, safety distance and seat reserve.
The cultural proposal will begin on July 10 with a music concert by the singer-songwriter Andreu Valor in which he will present the new album “Insurrecto” and will continue on Friday 17 with “Rondalles i ferments”, an activity of promotion reader for adults with beer tasting by Miquel Puig. Children’s audiences will also have two evenings of programming; the first on July 23 with the storytell of “El gran Jordiet”, “Of tales, legends and other things that I carry to the suitcase” that includes the performance of an acrobat, and the second, on August 6 with the ant musical by Amimic Teatro. On August 1, there will also be a flamenco show, Cicatrices, with dancers Manuel Serena and Manuela Morales.
The intention of the City Council of Serra with this program is to “energize the cultural life of the municipality with very different proposals in content and public to which they are addressed, in a difficult time” comments the mayor, Alicia Tusón. “In a summer when there are no main festivities or celebrations for covid19 we want to revitalize the activities in the town complying with all the regulations and security measures that allow the new normal”.
In this way there will be strict control of the capacity, the chair will have to be reserved in order to avoid crowds of the public and keep the necessary social distances to combat the pandemic of covid19. The activities are supported by the culture area of the Provincial Council of Valencia through the SARC.
