The olive tree has been associated with Mediterranean culture since the origins of mankind. Our ancestors knew how to take advantage of all the resources that this magnificent tree provided them, especially the oil obtained by pressing its fruits, the olives.
We will take a guided tour through the surroundings of the town trying to identify the different varieties of local olive trees. Afterwards, we will visit the recently restored traditional olive mill and finish the morning with a visit to the modern mill where we will be able to see how the oil is extracted nowadays.
