Serra will host on July 2 a performance of El tutor burlat, the comic opera by the Valencian Vicente Martín Soler. A production of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía that travels itinerantly through the towns of the Valencian Community.
The opera performance in three acts will be held on the esplanade of the Town Hall at 22.00 hours. Registration is open at the Tourist Office, which is open from Monday to Sunday from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm.
On the same day in the morning, the Casa de la Cultura will also host a workshop on characterization and costumes for children from 6 to 12 years old. Registrations are also open at the Tourist Office.
“It is a great fortune to be able to host the performance of les Arts Volant in a first fortnight of July that comes loaded with music and culture for all audiences. From the music of our bands to the second Calderona Chamber Music Festival” says the mayoress, Alicia Tusón.
Serra has been the town of the region of Camp de Túria selected by the Diputació de València to host one of the performances within the program Las Artes Volant to bring opera culture to the towns of the province of Valencia.
