Serra celebrates the 4th Calderona Chamber Music Festival from July 4 to 13. For 10 days the town, nestled in the heart of the Sierra Calderona, will become the capital of chamber music. A festival that brings together the best figures of the chamber music scene. In total more than 25 musicians will offer 6 great concerts, one of them educational, as well as master classes and courses.
Chamber music will invade streets and squares to become the stage for 5 great concerts and an educational one. Concerts under the title Momentum, at the base of the tower of the Lord, the hermitage of Sant Josep and the creu, the tower of the Hermitage or the auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura. A fourth edition that represents a step forward in the richness and variety of the repertoire, as well as in the quality of the artists involved and that emphasizes the importance of the educational and inclusive task for the entire population.
Momentum is the title and common thread around which the whole idea of the Calderona Chamber Music Festival 2024 revolves. The theme of this edition of the festival is based on the power of curiosity as an indispensable ingredient to evolve and develop new ideas and concepts that until now had not been explored.
We will make a journey that will start with references from the seventeenth century and will gather up to the current music, composed in 2024.
